I am looking for information on A sargent scout dragline. can anybody tell me anything about it? There is no ID tag on it and there is number 119 stamped on the front of the house floor. I have pictures but don't know how to post them. Thanks

Haven't been in the site for awhile, so this's late, and is just a guess....
Didn't find anything Googling, the name doesn't appear in any of my old parts catalogs (which is not unusual) and Keith Haddock apparently hasn't mentioned them in any of his books on Googlebooks...but did turn up the Sargent Corporation (sargent-corp.com), an earthmoving outfit started in 1926 with trucks, acquiring other eqpmt in 1930 or so...
Since this has a McCormick-Deering engine, is it possible it might've been built by IH for the Corporation, or possibly "assembled" in the Corporations shop(s) from existing components??? I have no experience with tracks, so don't know if your tracks might've come from or been modified from crawler tractor tracks or some then existing track system...

You might try posting the info over on the Stripmine message board. One or two of the guys there know Keith Haddock and he's helped a couple of people find information on mystery machines:
