I am restoring a Schield Bantam C-350 crawler crane. The lifting capasity data plate is missing from it. My SN is 9137. I understand that it is supposed to be in the cab. Can anyone tell me how I can find that information? I also would like to know the year this machine was built. Thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi there, I have a C-350 serial #10245. It has the full vision cab which is rare for its age. I have most all the hoe buckets for it, 24" 30" 36" and a one of a kind 48". I have a sheet that also tells all the serial numbers and the years they were built. E-MAIL me sometime next June and I will be where I can look it up. Pictures of my Bantam, and Hough H-30B are in the users gallery. Thanks RICHGRABLE@YAHOO.COM

Hey thanks for the tip. It was for a C-35. I believe the 350 has just a bit more capasity, but this gave me a idea of what mine can handle. I asked the seller if he had one for a 350 and he did not. Again thanks for the tip!!!

In reply to your e-mail: The book I have is called "Green Guide" of used construction equipmemt. published in 1972, covering years 1961-1970. And an older equipment volume pub. 1971 covering 1951-1960. The serial# guide shows mod.350 begining with #9001 in 1959 and with #9744 in 1960. so yours may be from the first year of the 350. The book shows C-350 to be a 3/8 yd. machine with a continental F-226 standard or optional diesels; weighing 17,550 lbs. without boom or attachments. It was built until sometime in 1968 selling then for $15,635. Beginning in '68 the C-350A was rated at 1/2 yd.
