Anybody know where I can find a backhoe front to fit a 1956 Lima type 34? I've got the machine restored with the shovel front but I'd like the hoe. I'm from northern NH

Good thing I asked. According to Lima's serial number records, that's actually a 44, shipped in July 1959 to somewhere in Canada. We have an operation and service manual for the 44 published in March 1959; a photocopy can be made for $55 plus postage. Call me at the number below if you'd like to order it.

My type 34 is a 1956. The serial #3335-21. My father bought it new in 1956. I also have a 1957. Both have shovel fronts.
