Hoehring Info?

Tom,

I've seen similar info you've posted for other machines here. Any chance you can give me any history on a Koehring 305, serial number 11973? I found this machine on Machinerytrader.com; believe it is one my dad ran for ~25 years. Should have been built about 1964.

Any info would be appreciated.

Probably 1962-1963. My Koehring serial number reference skips from 11928 (1962) to 12067 (1963).

I have a 330 Koehring, 305 with heavy lift, sprawler and 3rd drum serial 11541 shipped from the factory in Aug of 1960.

Gib- Wow! That's pretty amazing. My Dad's employer (King Equipment Company of Kingstree, SC) actually owned 2 different 305's, but I'm not sure if they were bought at the same time or a year or two apart. Who knows, these may have been 3 305's with sequential serial numbers.

Hugh, Your dad looks the part, like he knows what to do.. good looking machine too, I am trying to up load one to post here so we will see how it goes. I think I still have your email I will send you some pictures of the machines that we have picked up since we last talked.. This 305 here had been converted to air, not a good job and the left hand swinger sleeve on the clutch has been broken so trying to decide which way to go with it. Parts or fix. Gib
