Allis Chalmers AD40 engine

What engine is used in the Allis Chalmers AD40 grader? All I know is it's a four cylinder diesel. Is there an overhaul manual for this engine?,

Brad,
The AD40 built 1952-55 had the 4-71GM. The AD40 became the Forty-Five in 1955.

I,ve just purchased an AD4O, the previous owner says the engine may be seized, hopefully I can overhaul it & restore this grader to operational condition.Looks like a good machine,
