:?: How long was the Model LS50 made? Was it a good machine? Are there any parts available? Thanks, Dave.

Dave,
I don't know a whole lot about Link Belts, but I think they are generally considered very good machines.
A quick Google search turned up a brochure and spec sheet at Link Belt's website:
http://www.linkbelt.com/lit/archive/arc ... me_lbp.htm (http://www.linkbelt.com/lit/archive/archive_home_lbp.htm)
(scroll down to the LS50 listing)
Jensales lists a manual for the machine:
http://www.jensales.com/tractormanuals. ... %20SPEEDER (http://www.jensales.com/tractormanuals.asp?id=LINK%20BELT%20SPEEDER)
These guys say they can supply parts:
http://www.crane-spare-parts.com/link-b ... -parts.htm (http://www.crane-spare-parts.com/link-belt-crane-parts.htm)
Good Luck,
Hugh

Thanks, Hugh, for the information. It was a big help. I think this is going to be a nice shovel. I am going to send for a manual which will really help out a lot. Thanks again, Dave :D
