Hi There!
I also have one of these things in need of TLC and/or another mach for parts. I bought mine several yrs ago at an auction at a local sand, gravel, & coal mining co. I ck'd it over b-4 bidding & the engine(6 cyl Chrysler flathead) was free and the whole thing didn't look beyond salvage(you know, "shaken, but not stirred~ into junk!" Then when I went back the nxt day to pick it & some other large "treasures" up, while the owner's son was loading it on the flat trlr I bought, the old man comes over to ck on what I got. Well he starts telling me that they had rebuilt one end or the other(he couldn't remember which~ eng or comp), and were using it when the other end they hadn't fixed blew up! So they just quit using the Jaeger and started to use a newer Grimmerschmitt they had there!? I then did a little more serious cking & found that the eng turned over 360deg fine, but when you engaged the clutch for the comp it would only turn over part way, then stop. So I figure the comp has a broken rod & haven't went any further.
Mine by the way, is a 3 cyl piston-type of compressor. The only identification it has is Jaeger 125 on the rear grill. Someone's "liberated" the brass tag from the inside. I could probly be talked into parting with it, if it would help you get yours going. I had always planned on getting it going, since I'm a Mopar nut fron waaay back & it's got that Chrysler Ind engine in it(kinda why I bought it~'sides the fact I could use a port. comp. around here)~~ but I've got enuff other projects going to keep the rest of my life busy, my kid's life busy, his kid's life, etc.,etc., etc. I think I've got 100~150$$ in it.
Next quest. is~~~ where are you located? I'm 'bout 30mi north of Pittsburgh, Pa. And there is the possibility, if you're in one of the nearby states, of throwing it on the trlr with a load going that way!?
Hopefully this will be of some help to you. As far as technical info, or where to go look for parts~~ I ain't much help there, other than to ask around some of your local construction co's.
Let me kno if you're intrested. Jim.

Hey, Thanks for the info!! Mine is a Jaeger 125B three piston type compressor with the flathead 6cyl engine. The company that made them is long out of business and the only parts that are available are in Arizona for the Jaeger screw type compressor. I am in need of just a couple of parts really or I guess I could take the whole thing. I live in Indiana but will be in Pennsylvania in March for a school at Indian Town Gap. I am in the National Guard. Here is my email craigwdavs@msn.com I can email you a picture of the parts I need, they are small and I could send you some $$$ for them.
