Hi folks.I need help from a Nortwest expert. I'm looking at a front shovel that has a Murphy model 11 diesel.It was an Army Corps Of Engineers machine.Can you tell me an approximate year;rarityand value? thanks in advance.Model#also.Thanks

I have a 1950 NW25 with a Murphy 11, see if it looks the same?

Bill,

We need more info before we can help you. NW made lots of diffeent model shovels. Could be a 25 or a 41, for example. If you locate the serial number of the shovel--over by the where the driver sits--there are a number of places that will hunt up the original papers on the machine and you'll then know LOTS about your machine.

Bill I got a operators and parts manual for my NW model 25 shovel from Gerhart NW buy giving them the serial # 717 626 8544
