The 54th Annual Rock River Thresheree Reunion will be held over Labor Day weekend, September 3rd - September 6th, 2010, at the Rock River Thresheree grounds in rural Edgerton, Wisconsin. It opens at 8 a.m. and closes at 5 p.m. each day.

Our 2010 feature is Oliver tractors (which includes Hart-Parr); our feature engine is Maytag.

Upon arrival at Threshermen's Park, you will find that parking is free and abundant, as are all our shuttles (seat-filled wagons pulled behind classic tractors). Ride a shuttle to the main entrance gate where admission is only $6 for adults and $1 for children aged 6-12 years old. Children aged 5 and under are

free. On Friday, senior citizens are admitted for $5.

New this year, you can avoid the long-lines at the ticket gate by purchasing your tickets in advance at the following area locations:

* Burns Full Service, LLC (Edgerton)
* Dave's Ace Hardware (Milton)
* Lions Quick Marts (Janesville & Fort Atkinson)
* Piggly Wiggly (Milton)

You can also purchase tickets through RRT member Dannielle. You can contact her by phone 608-770-2524 or by e-mail at <dgrrt538@aol.com>.

Also new, on Saturday and Sunday members of the Southern Wisconsin Bluegrass Music Association* will be in the pavilion. Jam sessions will be from 10 a.m. until noon and from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., while member bands will be playing from noon until 3 p.m.

Our grounds are handicap accessible and we gladly provide a handicap parking lot and in-park transportation at no charge for those with special needs.

Since the Thresheree is an outdoor, rural event, we highly recommend that you wear comfortable shoes and clothing. (Personally, I recommend avoiding white clothing, too, especially if you plan to ride the Cannonball!)

Please note that our daily Parade of Power is held at 2:00 p.m. Other main attractions and events include:

Steam Train Rides -- Steam Pile Driver -- Steam Traction Engines
Tractors & Implements -- Gas, Steam & Model Engines
Sawmill, Gristmill, Sorghum Mill & Shingle Mill
Blacksmiths -- Wheelwrights -- Woodcarvers
Corn Shelling -- Potato Digging -- Antique Cars & Trucks
Construction Equipment Display & Demonstrations
"I Drove My First Tractor at..."
Steam Calliope -- Tool Displays
Food & Refreshments -- Flea Market of 300+ Vendors
(Click on the image at right for more information
about many of our attractions.)

We will have two draglines running along with a 22B clam and Northwest 25 shovel. We will be moving dirt with graders, elevating grader, scrapers, and dozers.
